The Last Scarf of Winter
Next Wednesday is the first day of spring, and am I pumped! The weather is already getting warm where I live (in fact, it was summer-hot last night), but I know there will be plenty of little "winters" before warm weather moves in to stay. That's why I've chosen Candi Jensen's pretty, springy Skinny Scarf as this week's project. We won't have too much longer to wear scarves, but this one would be great for those chilly evenings that are sure to lie ahead over the next few weeks.
A few viewers had problems with this project when we first ran it, but I've knit it up myself, and I can promise that if you're careful and don't drop or add stitches, the pattern knits up very nicely. It looks like woven fabric and has a great texture. What's more, even though it's knit out of only three colors, they blend to create lovely shading. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did, and even if the weather gets too warm for you to wear a scarf, you'll have it waiting for you next fall when it cools off again!
